Music has been a big part of my life from my earliest days. My dad worked as a musician in his late teens and early twenties, and he met my mom while on a gig.
I started playing trumpet in 4th grade, and eventually switched to tuba in 10th grade, then earned bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in music.
I’ve played in a lot of bands. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and shows. I’ve written a fair amount of music. I’ve written a fair amount about music.
