Introduction to Mavis!
Her full name is Mavis Ana Ng Pancakes Hamm.
- “Mavis” is from the song “52 Girls” by the B-52’s
- “Ana Ng” is from a They Might Be Giants song of the same name
- “Pancakes” is a reference to the brown spots on her white fur, which look like pancakes
Mavis is an energetic mix of numerous breeds: Chihuahua, Miniature Pinscher, Shih-Tzu, and others. She’s emotional, swears a lot, and has kind of an unhinged Southern accent. She loves to wear clothes and is rarely seen naked, keeping her signature pancakes (round brown spots on her white fur) mostly concealed from view.
She frequently says “Oh My God!!!” and “OMG”, and is also known for her signature phrase “DAT’S WEËR'” when she thinks something is weird.
Her alter-ego is Shadowbite, The Vampire Dog, whose favored means of consumption is to suck the blood from your eye, which she will do “alllll niiiiight”.
Mavis also has a penchant for graffiti.
She was adopted from Hearts4Doxies rescue in Renton, WA.
