Website
Updates and whatnot
November 22, 2008, 12:41 PM
It's a pleasant and relaxing Saturday. I'm watching
football and doing some updates to the site. Kim and
I will be going to a hors d'oeuvre and wine party
this evening, which will be fun. We're both looking
forward to our upcoming trip to Seattle.
Screwlucy's paw (likely injured in a skirmish with Freyja) is healing well. All of the other beasts are fine.

Summer vacation is underway; new photos

Kim and I are at her parents' place near Seattle, and
I've uploaded a new set of photos in the album called
Summer Vacation
2008. I will continuously update this album
as we accumulate more pictures.
We're having a great time. It's nice being in western Washington, where it's 20 degrees cooler than in Billings. We arrived on Saturday and went to a Mariners game yesterday. Today we'll head downtown for a while then do some shopping on the east side, then.....????

Finally... going live

OK, it's taken a while, but I finally put the new
site up today. I decided to use the "Professional"
site as my main samhamm.com site, then stick this
personal site off to the side, rather than split the
site into two parts ("Professional" and "Personal").
I've always hated the extra navigation step of a
splash page, which in this case would have only
served to direct visitors to one of two options that
already have built-in interaccessibility.
New site: in the process of going up!

Finally, after what has probably been two or three
years, I am updating this website. It is being split
into Personal and Professional sides, which will give
me a little more flexibility with content. I probably
will not finish it tonight, but I bet it will be done
in the next day or two. This is also a test for the
blog feature, to see how it works.
